In the framework of the State Culture Capital Foundation's target programme "Improvement of the material and technical base of visual arts educational institutions" the Liepaja University Art Research Laboratory (MPLab) received support for the purchase of Microsoft HoloLens 2 in 2023.
The device is available to students, faculty and researchers of the study programmes "New Media Art", "New Media Art and Design", "New Media and Audiovisual Art" and "New Media and Creative Technologies" for use in coursework and research projects.
