RIXC, the Center for New Media Culture invites to VIRTUALITiES AND REALITIES exhibition at kim? Contemporary Art Center. It is part of the RIXC Art and Science Festival, that has been taking place in Riga for more than 20 years. The exhibition is open until November 28th.
The exhibition that is accompanying the Festival had more than 200 artwork submissions, from which 25 were selected. The exhibition has a variety of works - from poetic works, where artists have drawn inspiration from nature and the surrounding environment, to socially active works, that are technically exquisite and esthetic. VIRTUALITIES AND REALITIES consist of photography, video installations and seven artworks are dedicated specifically to virtual reality (VR).
