Liepāja university's New media art programs lecturers, researchers and students take a part of international exhibition "Open Fields"

The OPEN FIELDS exhibition is open from September 30 until November 2, 2016. 
It takes place in three exhibiton halls of the National Library of Latvia (ground floor).

Opening hours: Mon, Tue, Wed 11.00 – 18.00; Th 11.00 – 20.00; Fri 11.00 – 18.00; Sat, Sun 12.00 – 17.00
The exhibition will be closed on October 10, 28 and 29, 2017.

This year's festival exhibition with the title Open Fields presents 25 works by international artists, who are challenging the notion of art and contemporary aesthetics. They are moving across, bringing together and converging different knowledge, various media and diverse Fields, as well as using scientific, cultural and social data as new artistic mediums, and interpreting them in a new and meaningful ways.
