On Friday, June 17, at 20:00 in Cultural centre "WISE" (Liepaja, Alejas street 9) new media artists will open their photo exhibition "Filters". After the artist presentation, the evening will continue with audiovisual perfromance by "Dejo un Locies".
Filters are devices, software or a substance that transmits or holds certain types of content - rays, signals, particles etc. In the exhibition 12 young artists will interpret the diversity of theme - each using their vision, stimulate discussion and offer different interpretations topic in video projections, sculptures, collages and installations - while keeping photography as the main media.
Exhibition open from 18 to 21 June from 12:00 to 17:00. Free entrance.
