We invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Saglābt – Saglabāt"(“Save - Save as”) on May 19, 2019 at 17.0 @ Culture Palace "Ziemeļblāzma" (Ziemeļblāzmas Street 36), Riga. The exhibition is organized by "E-LAB, the Electronic Arts and Media Center" (E-LAB) in collaboration with the Art Research Laboratory (MPLab) at Liepājas Universitāte. During the time of exhibition, there will be 3 creative workshops - performances in the area of “Ziemeļblāzma”, lecture cycle and discussion about the Next Nature, as well as the forms and strategies of conservation of the existing nature.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience 9 works of young media artists. Their works express a new strategy for rescuing nature - save it for future generations in the form of data using augmented reality, data visualisation, 3D modeling and sound recordings, etc. digital and interactive technologies that allow you to create unlimited copy and manipulation of natural objects according to your needs.
The exhibition will be open from 19 May to 29 July during the working hours of the Culture Palace “Ziemeļblāzma”.
